Atlantic Novices Postponed

Due to the effects of Hurricane Juan in Halifax, and the resulting closures including Dalhousie University, the CUSID Atlantic Novice Championships will be postponed until further notice.

According to Dan Sameoto of Sodales, “Dalhousie is closed completely until Monday or until the power comes back on, which ever is later. The Sodales executive apologizes for this, but there isn’t anything we can do. The tournament is still planned and will occur as early as possible. When we have more information on Dalhousie’s opening, we will provide an update.”

Introducing the new International Schedule

Stemming from demand from debating clubs around the world, CUSID has created an International Schedule alongside the main CUSID schedule. The international schedule will feature non-CUSID tournaments (IONA, APDA, NPDA, etc.) who are specifically seeking the attendance of CUSID members. We hope that this new addition will help CUSID members who are looking for an international experience. Go to the Schedule to access it.

Tournaments must directly submit a request to the CUSID President or Executive Director explaining why they wish to be included on the international schedule. The international schedule can be accessed by clicking on “Schedule” from the navigation bar on the top of CUSIDnet or of CUSID.ca.
